being wrapped in the arms of the night

got nagged at by ness & min about me being lazy to blog so here i m once again.
have been busy the past few days.. stoning.. yup, stoning.. don't believe you can ask vanessa.. the first day @ harry elias was drop dead boring.. did some stamping and other then that.. nthing.. andy-the admin guy, he was really nice.. one of the few that actually talked to us.. but he was quite much of a perfectionist i must say.. "girls.. remember to leave a space before you stamp.. see.. see.. i show you.. follow the example and stamp".. really cute.. he kept on repeating himself.. =)
the 2nd day was much better.. went to the high court early in the morning to meet the lawyer we were attached to -anand =) the hearing was suppose to start @ 10am but we waited and waited and he didn't come.. i was a bit worried that he had pang sei us.. about 955am.. me n ness decided to just go into court without him.. 10am came and the hearing still didn't start.. at around 1010am, anand then came strolling into court.. the way he walked into court told me he was a free and easy guy.. lyk the whole world belong to him or today is a bright and shinny day that kinda thing.. i mean lawyers are suppose to be serious and the atmosphere in the court.. especially a high court is suppose to be tense but this was not the case here.. i mean lawyers on the opposite sides were teasing each other.. lots of murmuring going around.. oh yahz.. it's a rape case by the way.. haha.. the atmosphere was relax.. =) at about 11am then did the hearing took place fianlly.. the prosecution lawyers started off first by explaining in details what happened on that day.. as in how the rape took place.. and yar.. was quite disgusted actually.. *yucks* that guy is a really really really sinful guy i must say.. later we took anand's black sports car back to the office.. his car was way cool.. =) oh yahz.. subas was with us too.. didn't really talk much to him though..
the 3rd day was great i must say.. morning was a little boring.. did some checking of documents.. yeah.. was online most of the time.. pretty much living the life of a slacker.. haha.. after lunch we went to the subordinate court.. me and ness thought he had gone off to get his car as he asked us to wait at the taxi stand for him.. we looked and we looked and we looked.. tried to spot for his black sports car.. then suddenly i saw this familiar figure walking towards us.. i kept on looking.. trying to figure out who that was.. then the figure got closer and closer to us.. haha.. then he spoke "how come you look so daze?".. haha.. then i realise the figure was anand.. *oops* was expecting him to drive his black sports car to fetch us.. haha.. then he told us we were taking a taxi.. the cases at the sub-court are all minor cases.. nthing much.. the first one was a gang fight.. the second was about this drug addict trying to get permission from the court to go overseas for treatment.. it only took about 1/2 an hr.. went to court1 to listen to the nicholl highway case.. was pretty boring so we left.. anand was really nice & friendly during the trip there and back.. me & ness were kinda mesmerized by him.. too bad his 10+yrs older then us.. *sigh*
the last day at the law firm was the best.. went to the sub-courts early in the morning to sit in for the trials on a case of cheating (an insurance scam) the trials were really interesting.. especially the cross examination of the defence and prosecution witnesses.. haha.. subas was quite funny.. kelly from SAJC joined us today at court.. lunch was kinda awkward.. anand wanted to go back to the office to finish up some of his work and asked us to join subas and his client to lunch.. so we followed.. ate at Furama hotel.. had some lunch buffet.. the desserts were so pretty.. haha.. couldn't bare to eat them.. subas was friendly.. he tried to make conversations with us.. i guess we did somehow enjoy that lunch.. anw, it was a treat so we didn't have anything to lose out in.. after lunch we headed back to court19 for the next part of the trials.. cabbed back to the office.. ms tay gave out our pays =) hehe.. 40 bucks! me & ness went around to give out the brownies we had made the night before.. most of them were really appreciative of it =) was quite touched.. went back to the library to stoned once more.. fell asleep on this comfy black couch when subas came to visit us.. *oops* got a shock when i heard his voice.. quickly woke up.. darn it.. he caught me pigging on my fav couch.. haha.. but he was really nice.. asked us whether we had fun.. felt quite guilty as we didn't give him a piece of brownie and here he is treating us so nicely.. hate him.. make me look so bad =P helped kelly take a few pics of the law firm.. haha.. andy was really funny.. told him i needed a pic of them photocopying documents & he got all so worried that he was not wearing shoes but wearing slippers.. then he quickly went to get some files containing the nicholl highway cases and posed with it.. haha.. darn cute alright.. 530pm came.. ness was lyk planning to leave @ 5pm.. poor girl.. she was so bored.. haha.. i stoled the couch =P went to say our gdbyes.. dragged ness to anand's office.. haha.. we really wanted to take a picture with him.. ness didn't dare to.. *sigh* haha.. when he said he ate our brownie & that it tasted good.. it melted my heart alright.. =) gosh.. haha.. said our goodbyes.. wished i could work there all dec.. haha.. i really don't mind.. -staresatness went to meet my xiao zhu after work.. for the 1st time she was on time.. haha.. watched the nike basketball macthes outside taka then went to pig out @ cine.. ate some ramen.. got a lift from xiao zhu's mum.. =) was pretty shagged when i got home..
can say that this one wk at harry elias was a wk well spent.. had so much fun i must say.. love the trips to court.. was always looking forward to them.. love the lawyers especially anand =) they were really nice.. this experience really sparked my interest in law once again.. this time, it is for real.. my dream is to once again meet anand & subas but when i do.. it would be in court.. yeah.. till we meet again.. -waves
medicine or law? was kinda confused at first.. went to talk it out with my mum.. i guess this experience really changed my view about law.. though i had thought of pursuing it at first.. i kinda abandoned it fearing it would be a bore but i guess i was all wrong.. =)
i must say i grew closer to ness during this period of time.. =) am really appreciative that you trust me and was willing to share with me your problems.. really hope you will get over it quickly so that you can see more beautiful things out there that is waiting for you to go unfold them =) will always be there for you alright.. haha.. -hugx *rmb u still owe me a cd*
hmm.. the band pple left for their thailand trip already.. hope they having fun over there.. gave becky a call before they boarded the plane.. they sounded really excited i must say.. darn it.. they got to take SIA.. no fair.. when we went to italy.. we took some air france that got us delayed for more than a day in total.. nevertheless, hope they have a safe flight there and back =) that becky girl better get me something good from thailand or she can quit talking to me.. haha.. so mean..
talking about mean.. me & ness was so pissed off after amaths tuition class today alright.. that guy had no idea at all that the words that were coming out of his foul mouth was hurting.. how could he insult ness lyk that.. acting lyk a bimbo is one thing but using words to hurt my friend is something i can't keep quiet about.. so what is she doesn't take pure science? is that lyk any of ur problem & as if u take biology.. fancy talking big about knowing something you don't study.. and for goodness sake.. a few pieces of chocolate doesn't kill.. i know ness is a lil' darker than us all but so what? do you have to keep on harping on it? it hurts alright if u didn't realise.. so the next time before you blabber.. make sure whatever comes out goes thru that head of yours..

went to walk queensway after tuition with ness.. had fun looking for a punk shirt for ness.. came across a few nice ones but ness was not sure whether to get them so she didn't in the end.. i couldn't find that nice adidas swimming suit.. darn it.. guess i must go check the adidas outlets at suntec or bugis.. met edwin.. haha.. he was wearing this really nice black basketball jersey.. on it read "zengies".. haha.. kinda cool.. heard form him that he's working at this shop that pays little but gives out free shoes & shirts.. the offer is kinda attractive isn't it.. darn it.. trying to make me jealous =P bused home after walking all 3 levels of queensway.. hate that bus driver driving bus14.. so unfriendly.. can't he see we were lyk running to catch his bus.. is not as if we were strolling to catch his bus.. can't he just lyk wait a little more patiently.. ;shagged
